Gopher tortoises live on my land, I have at least three. In my property deed, it is stated that i must take care of them. All that means is cutting the grass now and again, as they prefer the soft new growth. They know my dogs, who really don’t bother them much, just a sniff. The tortoises are sooo large! And so cool to have around.
